Developement approvals
There are three main types of development approvals that are the most commonly required under the NSW Planning Portal.
01/
Development application (DA)
Lodgement of development applications (DA's) to the relevant Council. We mostly specialise in detached housing and ancillary development for residential work.
We also understand and lodge more complex developments including applications for multi-dwelling, commercial and industrial development applications.
02/
Construction certificate (CC)
Lodgement of the construction certificate (CC) application with your selected certifier or council (who can also act as a certifier).
The construction certificate follows on from the development application approval by council and when issued, allows for the actual building works to commence when the builder is appointed.
03/
Complying development certificate (CDC)
Lodgement of the complying development certificate (CDC) application with your certifier or council.
A complying development certificate is generally a fast-track approval that is like a DA/CC rolled into one application.
Most complying development certificates are for simpler types of developments such as dwelling houses, dwelling additions, pools, sheds and garages – all of which we specialise in.
